KING SIZE TRIBUTE TO THE KING OF POP

OFFICIAL UNVEILING OF THE LASER CRAFTED GRANITE MONUMENT FOR MICHAEL JACKSON MADE BY STONE PLANS MONUMENT COMPANY

King size granite tribute to "The King of Pop", made by Stone Plans will be officially unveiled on Friday, June 25, 2010. Mrs. Katherine Jackson, mother of Michael Jackson, Mr. Ruby Clay, Mayor of The City of Gary Indiana and Mr. Palanisami Gounder, Chairman of The Stone Plans memorial group will present to unveil the 5000 pound granite monument.

June 25, 2010 marks the first anniversary of Michael's passing. The official unveiling of the first and the only permanent memorial yet, is scheduled to take place at 2:00 p.m. in front of the famous 2300, Jackson street childhood home of the international pop icon.

The monument is made of premium grade jet black granite quarried at Stone Plans own granite quarries. This larger than life 8 feet tall, 5 feet wide and 1.25 feet thick, 500 pound monument is crafted using the state-of-the-art laser etching technology.

On the front is a silhouette of Michael Jackson in a classic moon walk dance pose against the backdrop of a full moon. Back side of the monument has collage of pictures depicting his childhood to stardom. An illusion of Michael’s face is the background to the words that describe his life story.

This unique memorial tribute for “The King of Pop” is the culmination of whirlwind 48-hour creative design teamwork that involved more than 350 man hours. The team work was executed by Senthil P. Muruganantham, CEO of Stone Plans. According to Senthil, Stone Plans is one of the very few memorial companies in the world, that have the capability to design and craft an elaborate memorial of this magnitude in such a short notice.
